Beau Bellanich - Director of Photography / Steadicam / Gaffer

It is Beau’s belief that a story can be told a thousand different ways, and it is up to filmmakers to make it brilliant, bring it alive, and present it in a way that captivates the audience. Beau began in film as a child actor in small roles but went on to earn his B.F.A. in Film & Television from Savannah College of Art and Design with a focus in Cinematography/ Steadicam/ Lighting and Gripping. While attending SCAD, he worked on film sets to further his knowledge of lighting, first as a Grip and then as a Dolly Grip. This gave Beau the knowledge of how to light a scene and know the technical instruments suited for each job and shot.  After graduating, he broke into the Camera Department as a Second Assistant Camera. In addition to working as a cinematographer at Moon Rabbit Media, he is also a member of the International Cinematographers Guild Local 600 IATSE and Local 491 where he works as a Camera Assistant and Dolly Grip. Beau has Dolly Gripped for films such as Baywatch (2017), Underground (2017), Galveston (2018), The Front Runner (2019), Avengers: Infinity War Part II (2019), and he recently Rigged Gemini Man (2019). He was also a Camera PA on Ted 2 (2015), Camera Utility for Tropical Cop Tales (2018) and the Peanut Butter Falcon (2019), and Second Assistant Camera on The Poison Rose (2019) and Florida Girls (2019).  He thinks a story should be portrayed so that reality is lost and it is only the audience and the story taking them on an adventure.
